How to Pack With Bubble Wrap

Bubble wrap provides a cushion of air that keeps your fragile items in good shape when they moved or shipped. Wrap the goods in a sheet of plain newsprint or acid-free paper first to safeguard your items from marks that might be otherwise left behind from the plastic bubble shapes.

You can get bubble wrap online as there are various air bubble roll manufacturer in India. You will get your bubble wrap at your doorstep.

Using Bubble Wrap

Whenever you wrapping the items make sure you face the air bubbles in toward the fragile item for maximum protection. This will provide cushioning and distribute the weight more evenly. It also helps to protect the bubbles from breakage.

Using Bubble Wrap Sleeves

Items those are flat, such as picture frames or thin external hard drive can be packed in bubble-wrap sleeves. These sleeves look like a bag which is made of bubble wrap. These bags are best fit for light weight items because they are made with small bubbles. These items can be bagged and stacked, then wrapped with even more bubble wrap, if you like.

The Wrapping Process

Step 1: Cut the Bubble Wrap

Cut a piece of air bubble wrap, it should be large enough to wrap the items several times around the item you wish to protect. For heavy fragile items use large bubble wrap rolls.

Step 2: Wrap the Object

Wrap the air bubble wrap around the item several times; make sure the object is centred within the wrap. Also make sure there is no gap in the box, if there is gap then fill it with bubble wrap or newspaper.

Step 3: Tape and Tuck

Tap the air bubble wrap to itself to hold it in a place near center. Always use packaging tape for better result. Tuck lose ends from internal layers inward if the item didn't take up ample space inside the cylinder of bubble wrap. Tape the ends shut so the item does not slide out.

Packing Wrapped Items

After wrapping all fragile items, package them in thick corrugated cardboard boxes. For object that may break easily, such as glass or teacups, line the bottom of the box first with various layers of thick air bubble wrap or an inch or more of packing peanuts. Organize wrapped objects within the box; then fill in any space remaining on the sides or top with wads of Kraft paper, bubble wrap or packing peanuts. If packed properly, the items should remain safe and intact even if the box is dropped onto its side or from several feet.
