1) Prepare yourself in advance: - Packing precious crystal
and other breakables items need some time. Don’t be in a rush to pack these
items unless you are hiring movers. You need to start well in advance on
packing day, and take some time to pack these items.
2) Choosing the right size of Box: - After planning the first
thing you need to keep in mind is the right selection of box. For large items
you need the large box which fits the item perfectly. Always make sure that you
have sufficient space inside it to provide proper cushioning to the items.
3) Choosing right tools: - You need the following: quality
boxes of numerous sizes, air bubble packaging rolls, packaging paper, pair of
scissors, pliable cardboard and packaging tape, last you need a table to lay
out your items and pack on that table.
4) Tie the items tightly: - While shipping pieces of glasses
or set inside the box, always make sure the items are tied tightly together, so
that they do not move or tilt, which may lead to breakage.
5) Use cushion packaging: -Always use protective packaging
cushions which are easily available in the market such as air bubble packaging
rolls, cardboard pieces, air bubble wrap etc. Choose the packaging material
carefully according to the items size and weight.
6) Wrap the items: The most important part of packaging
fragile item is wrapping and cover the product properly, always fill the void
inside the packaging box with more material like foams.
7) Tape the box properly:- The last and most important step
of packaging is to pack & wrap the whole box with thick and wide tapes.
